Every time someone goes out surfing they have to know that sometime there is such a thing a wave too big for their own good, the problem is how do you know when a wave is too big that might be dangerous to surf? every surfer has their own way of sensing that, however in this picture my brother caught a way perhaps a little too big for his tiny boogie board, lucky for me I was there to take a picture of him right after the wave spit him out to shore, he looks a little scare to go back again…

The sunsets at the beach are one of the many reasons Costa Rica is an awesome place to spend time with your love ones. Watching the sunset from a tropical beach that is not very crowded is one of the things anybody should do in their lifetime, there is sometime very magical about the warm weather combined with the warm colors.

Here is a picture of me with my girlfriend at my favorite beach to catch the sunset.

The palm trees along the beach make a really nice shade and provide a very scenic element to the beach !!

I’ve heard that the "season" for to see turtles here in Costa Rica is during the month of October, however I have seen a one or two turtles come out and lay eggs in December as well.  My girlfriend and my brothers headed out the beach where they usually arrive by the hundreds unfortunately we didn’t see any this day

This is the beach where most turtles come out, however this particular day of December we had not luck, the beach was pretty empty.

My girlfriend Stephanie, really wanted to take a picture of the turtles, but since she didn’t see any she figured the closest thing to a turtle was me and she took a picture of me taking her picture.

If I had a quarter (25 cents) every time I saw a deserted beach here in Costa Rica, I wouldn’t be a millionaire, but I would be pretty close to being one, and I am not kidding, I took this picture at this one beach with perfectly grinded power white sand and no one on the beach, and its late December, during this month is where this country gets most of the tourists however many places don’t have paved roads and access to some places is only available during the summer months like December, that’s because during the winter months this roads get blocked by huge rivers from the mountains that run wild through roads until they make it to the ocean. Having a "real" 4×4 vehicle and knowing where to go is definitely very important to see some of this beautiful places even in months of heavy tourist season.

So much has happened since I last posted here that I would have to write about 30 or 40 blog post just to fill you guys in, I might or might not do that but I can give you a few details. Back in December I quit my job and now I am taking a long break to allow me to do some visa paperwork to start a new job. I’ll be putting some updates here but in the mean time I’ll let you guys see some of the places I have visited while here in Costa Rica.

We drove to this beach and I took this picture because right in front of this deserted beach I found a house, yes a nice house with a huge nice yard and palm trees with full view and access to this nearly deserted beach, it’s nearly deserted because we wore the only ones hanging around there after driving the car through some reef at low tide right at the end of the beach.

This is a closer look at the awesome house, I am not exactly sure if the house has road access from the back, but it definitely has road access right from the beach, this is totally one of the most beautiful places to have a house.

Some people don’t understand that some users like me don’t care at all about tool bars, and when they come in “packaged” or “bundled” with other software it definitely annoys the hell out of anybody, but this one is insane !!!. I install some freeware program that I needed to convert some file types and it came “bundled” with this stuff.  Well isn’t that convenient, well not for me, DONT like tool bars (as in toolbars for the browser)  not even the  google toolbar or other crappy software that was included with the application I was trying to install in the first place. After I find out that this “Dealio” toolbar sneaked into my system, I first did the obvious thing anybody would do which is to get rid of unwanted sneaky ware, and when I hit the uninstall button I was greeted with this dialog. Correct me if I am wrong but if I have decided that I want it out of my computer in the first place, why would I even care if the darn thing is customizable?

I found this picture online and the funny thing is that is is very true, I personally never been to Germany but I have met plenty of people from Germany when I was back in college, and also plenty of people from Europe for that matter, and I am not sure why most of them do the number 3 with their finger like that but the “German way of signaling 3″ reminds me of someone who is drunk? don’t you think so? perhaps is because there is plenty of beer, wine and vodka to go around in Europe? The U.S. way of signaling 3 is definitely not a shocker, that’s how most people around USA and other countries do it. An interesting thing with the Costa Rican way is that way perhaps because all the Costa Ricans “Ticos” also use that same gesture but with the hand facing the other way to signal that something is very good, so perhaps they do it so often that it works both ways !!

Holy Cow, this is really informative, its so clear I can see that !#### just clearly not responding, how can I fix this? perhaps I need an patch in a different language? or perhaps I should not be cheap and watch TV using the Cable company as opposed to try to find some cool new shows online with things like Joost, this program is still beta, so for some reason it runs very slow on computer, 2.5GHz 64 bit dual core 4GB RAM Computer and sometimes it barks at my computer in a different language as you can see in the image below.  Hopefully they will fix its slowness when it comes out of beta, in the mean I’ll try using it and not get too frustrated after all I was able to be very entertained when I watched all the episodes of Jericho, pretty cool show too bad there wore only less than 20 episodes made.
