I just downloaded Windows Live Essentials 2012 and installed Windows Live Writer 2012, I am happy to see that that the plugin I’ve created works without a problem, there is the picture of the plugin on the latest version of Windows Live writer, the plugin is the plugin bar on the right which shows the plugins list like it used to be on previous versions of the program.
I am not sure what has changed from the 2011 version to the 2012, but I am glad the plugin works with both versions.
