A while back when I was in Costa Rica, my dad and I went in his little (21 foot) boat around the Tempisque River, we went up a little river that spins off the main river into the wild farm lands of Guanacaste, the ride is very scenic because we get to see many wild life like tons of birds and Iguanas laying around, specially the big Iguanas, we also see crocodiles once in a while, for the most part they are shy animals because they are not used to humans, but we catch this one off the water, and it was a big crocodile, it was good we didn’t get too close

I have a few other videos that I haven’t posted here and while looking for more I found this short video that I put together using some pretty cool sunset pictures, I was still very new to the video editing thing when I put this together, so its probably not as cool as other videos that I created before, but still its pretty cool to look at.

So this past December (07) and January (08), my girlfriend and I spend a very nice time in Costa Rica in company of my family, it was a very nice time because I was there for over one month. I really enjoy myself a lot every time I go to Costa Rica, specially around December and January, because the weather is very nice, everything is green since the rainy season just ended, but the weather its very nice, warm and the water is super warm too which is good for surfing and hanging out in the beach.  I took a ton of video but I have only manage to make this one mix so far. Hope you enjoy it, and don’t forget to write your comments to let me know what do you think about this video and/or if you have any question.

Most of this video was shot in the northwest part of Costa Rica in the province of Guanacaste, which is where the famous actor and movie director Mel Gibson has his cozy place right next to the beach in Costa Rica.

I was just browsing my videos the other day and I found the first Costa Rica Mix video I edited, it was composed mostly of pictures, but they are good good pictures anyway, I really like the music in this video, and hopefully I can make another video similar to this one with the same music. The Original song is from Bob Marley but the version in the video is from Damian Marley which is Bob’s son, the music is very laidback but in this version it makes me getup and go to the beach everyday even if it is just to "cruise" along the beach with the the top-off jeep with the music very loud, it definitely feels like summer when you do that. Hope you enjoy the video.

This other video I edited was when we went to Ross lake in Washington, another sunny day with very little people around. One thing I like a lot about this lake is the very tall mountains around, there are so tall that some of them have snow on the top, and they provide with lots of scenic views all around the lake. We took a water taxi to give us a ride around the lake and check out the views from the water !!

I made this video a while ago, I had fun editing the video, it was taken at Newport beach in Oregon. We got lucky because we went at the end of November, and the weather was very nice, super clear and sunny but a little cold. It was fun looking at the people surfing in this chilling waters, someday I might give it a try.

So I’ve started to upload videos to the Internet, just for fun. Since I started, I have uploaded just a few, so I don’t have many yet out there, I was a little surprised to find out that my most popular video was the one with the title: Beautiful Beaches Of Tropical Paradise, it has been viewed almost 800 times, I am very surprised mainly because the video consist of purely pictures, it is effectively a slide show to which I have added some music, its not a bad video but I was thinking that the crocodile video that I uploaded would have been viewed more times because I think its more shocking. So that goes to show that not all shocking is that impressive or interesting. Anyway here is the video for you guys to enjoy:

Well as it turns out when I was younger I used to be a band nerd and yes I went to band camp, to play the drums, it was very fun specially when we play really fast and energetic drum rhythms, which we use to call comparsa. well those wore the good old times, I just found out about these street drummers and they play the drums in a very synchronized and energetic way that is just totally contagious, they are so good it makes me want to play the drums again, but I should leave that to the pros.

Check them out in the video, they are the best street drummer I’ve ever seen and they don’t even use real drums.

Whos said rope swings are only for kids? this is the coolest rope swing i have ever seen its like a combination of bonjee jumping and a giant rope swing at the same, you drop vertical as if you wore bujee jumping but then you feel how the rope starts to swing you to one side and then to the other, this definitelly is more extreme than your old-school canopy tree tours where you cruize along zip lines in the rainforest.
